UTCs/PRCs may register/ request for replacement of user ID/ password to access UTC Connect via the following methods:

1. New Registration - by new applicants i.e. prospect UTCs:-
   During registration as a UTC, the applicant would complete their details required for sign up of UTC Connect services as it has been incorporated into the UTC’s Application Form.
   
   Once the UTC Connect account has been successfully activated, an email notification with the subject line ‘UTC Connect Access’ from ‘utcconnect@publicmutual.com.my’ will be sent to UTCs/PRCs’ registered email address.
   
   UTC can click on “Click here to register UTC Connect online!” at the login page (www.publicmutualutcconnect.com.my) to perform first time login and also simultaneously set up a new user ID and password.
   
   
2. Replacement of User ID/ Password - by existing users who had:-
   
   1. Forgotten their User ID and Password – Go to the UTC Connect login page and click on “Click here” link next to “Forgotten your user id and password?” wording.
      
      
   2. Forgotten their Password – Go to the UTC Connect login page and click on “Click here” link next to “Forgotten your password?” wording.
      
      
   Alternatively, existing users can also reapply by completing the UTC Connect Application Form available at any Public Mutual branch.
    

1. UTCs/PRCs have received an email notification with the subject line ‘UTC Connect Access’ from ‘utcconnect@publicmutual.com.my’, what should UTCs/PRCs do?
   UTCs/PRCs should click on “Click here to register UTC Connect online!” at the login page (www.publicmutualutcconnect.com.my) to perform first time login and also simultaneously set up a new user ID and password. Alternatively, UTC may also follow the simple step-by-step guide as provided in the email. Thereafter, UTCs/PRCs may browse through UTC Connect and get the latest info and update from Public Mutual.
   
   
2. UTCs/PRCs didn’t get the email notification, what should they do?
   UTCs/PRCs may do either one of the following methods:-
   1. Try to search if the email subject line ‘UTC Connect Access’ from ‘utcconnect@publicmutual.com.my’ is in the Spam/ Junk folder.
   2. Check if the email address registered with us is correct. Recruiter can check on the downline’s registered email address in their CAMS2. If it’s correct then UTCs/PRCs may proceed to item (3) below.
   3. Proceed to click on “Click here to register UTC Connect online!” at the login page (https://www.publicmutualutcconnect.com.my) to perform first time login and also simultaneously set up a new user ID and password.
   4. Get assistance from recruiter to check with Agent Service via UTC Connect Online Support.
      
      
3. What if UTCs/PRCs have forgotten the User ID?
   UTCs/PRCs can reset the user ID via online by clicking on the hyperlink - ‘Forgotten your user id and password? Click here’ which is available on the UTC Connect login page. Alternatively, UTCs/PRCs may also re-apply UTC Connect by completing the UTC Connect Application Form available at any Public Mutual branch.
   
   
4. What if UTCs/PRCs have forgotten the Password?
   UTCs/PRCs can reset the password via online by clicking on the hyperlink - ‘Forgotten your password? Click here’ which is available on the UTC Connect login page.
   
   
5. Can UTCs/PRCs reset the user ID and/or password after 3 failed attempts?
   Yes, UTCs/PRCs may try again after 30 minutes upon receiving a message “We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later.”
   
   
6. Is the User ID case sensitive?
   No.
   
   
7. Is the password case sensitive?
   Yes, the password is case sensitive. Please follow the password requirements indicated under the 'Notes' section when UTCs/PRCs perform reset password.
   
   
8. What if UTCs/PRCs have not login for a long time e.g. more than 1 year?
   UTCs/PRCs can still login with the existing User ID and Password.
   
   
9. What should UTCs/PRCs do when they encounter an error message “Authentication failed: Invalid User ID or Password. Please try again or re-apply for a new User ID.”?
   UTCs/PRCs are required to:-
   1. reset the user ID and password via UTC Connect login page by clicking "Forgotten your user id and password? Click here";

   2. reset the password via UTC Connect login page by clicking "Forgotten your password? Click here"

1. Is Public Mutual UTC Connect secure?

   All your information transmitted over the Internet is encrypted to ensure confidentiality and data integrity. This strong encryption prevents eavesdropping and unauthorized alterations to the information that you transmitted.
   
   
2. Can I access Public Mutual UTC Connect using a public PC?
   We do not recommend accessing UTC Connect using public/shared PCs and public Wi-Fi hotspots. These mediums are not secure and may expose yourself to security risk which the computer may be infected by malicious program, rootkit, viruses or spywares.
   
   
3. What is the recommended browser?
   Best viewed in Microsoft Edge.
   
   
4. What should I do if I experience a slow response while accessing the internet?
   The slow response you are experiencing could be caused by any of the following reasons:
   1. You may not be using the recommended browser, operating system or hardware
   2. Your Internet Service Provider, Local Area Network (LAN) or our system may be experiencing heavy traffic
   3. Your computer may be infected by malicious programs, rootkit, viruses or spywares
   4. Your browser’s cache memory may be cluttered.

5. Do I need to clear cache memory after I have finished my Public Mutual UTC Connect session?
   Yes, it is recommended to clear cache with all sensitive sites. Or alternatively, you could perform browsing with incognito/private mode with internet browser.

7. What if I leave Public Mutual UTC Connect screen idle for a period of time?
   For security reason UTC is recommended to logout and not to leave the UTC Connect page idle to prevent misuse or unauthorized access.
   
   
8. Do I need to enable "cookies" in my browser when using Public Mutual UTC Connect Services?
   Please enable cookies when using Public Mutual UTC Connect Services.
   
   
9. Can I use browser other than Microsoft Edge?
   Yes. However, we recommend you to use Microsoft Edge for best view.

1. What is (PAC)?
   Personal Authentication Code (PAC) is a system generated authentication code which is unique and acts as an additional layer of security to protect your online transaction.
   
   
2. What if the PAC does not transmit to your mobile phone after numerous attempts of requesting for PAC?
   Failure of PAC not successfully transmitted via SMS could be due to the following possibilities:-
   1. UTC's mobile number may differ from the mobile number registered with Public Mutual. UTC is required to update your latest mobile number by submitting the "UTC's Mobile Number Amendment" form personally at any of our servicing branches.
   2. UTC may have been blocked from receiving SMSes from short code of 66300. UTC may call the respective telecommunications company to uplift the block.
   3. Please check with telco if you have not receive PAC after couple of attempts.
